Nutri-Systems Inc. was started in 1969 by Gary Frame, Lee Larsen, and Milo Martin. It was one of the first independent Animal Nutrition Consulting Firms to be established in California. The company initially provided services to the larger milling companies and later specialized into beef and dairy nutrition and management consulting. In 1979 Nutri-Systems Inc. hired Tim Riordan as one of its consultants. Tim worked together with Gary, Lee, and other staff consultants. In the late 1990’s both Gary and Lee retired and named Tim Riordan the sole owner of Nutri-Systems Inc. Tim ran the company by himself for a number of years until 2008 when his son Andy decide to become part of the family business. Together with years of industry, feed and technological experience has made Nutri-Systems one of the leading cattle nutritional firms in California.
Andy Riordan
Andy Riordan is President/ Co-Owner of Nutri-Systems Inc., in Clovis, California. He has been consulting since 2008 after receiving a Bachelor’s of Science degree (2006), and a Master’s of Science degree (2009) both in Animal Science from California State University, Fresno. Andy was very involved in the dairy at Fresno State where he milked and fed dairy cows along with assisting in feed trial work with other students. He also was President and Vice President of Fresno States Dairy Club. His involvement also included Judging at FFA Field day at Fresno State and participating in the first ever Dairy Challenge in California.
Professionally, he is a member of California American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists (ARPAS) which is a professional organization that commits itself to continuing education, research and providing scholarships for young students looking to pursue a career in animal agriculture. In that organization he has served on the research committee, Director at large, Secretary along with helping to develop a video to educate future animal science professionals about this national organization.
Personally, Andy is married to Ashly Riordan since 2006. He has 3 boys Brody age 14 Casey age 12 and Barrett age 10. He is currently the President of Stampede Youth Football. When he needs a break you can usually find him fly fishing, hunting or going down to the Coast in Southern California with Ashly and the boys.

Leslie Jacobsen
Leslie Jacobsen is a Nutritionist with Nutri-Systems Inc., in Clovis, California. She was a Research Associate with UC Davis’s Nutrition laboratory in Tulare, California doing field research for 8 years. During that time, she received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Animal Science from California State University, Fresno in 2018, and then a Master’s of Science degree in Ruminant Nutrition from University of California, Davis in 2022. During her time at Fresno State, Leslie was involved in the Dairy Science Club, and the Dairy Challenge Team.
Professionally, she is a member of ARPAS, and continues to go to conferences, continuing education courses, and research webinars to further her knowledge and to bring that information to her clients.
Personally, you can find Leslie either at the coast, or in the mountains hiking. She also enjoys creating art, and training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in her downtime.
